Complete the Final Project -- Parts 1 and 2.  Upon completion, contact your instructor so your website may be evaluated.  Deadline:  11/4/08.

 

10/28/08, Tue:  Final Project

To complete the Final Project, Exercises 1-3 must first be completed.  (Note:  Check in with your instructor before you advance to the next Exercise).

 

You will have two days to complete the Final Project -- Tuesday and Wednesday. 

 

10/24/08, Fri:  Exercises on Navigation Components, Link Bars, and Bookmarks

Continue working on Exercises 2 and 3 from yesterday.  Be sure to check with your instructor before you begin the next exercise so you can be sure that you are on the right track.

Before you start:  Be sure your instructor has checked off your completion of Exercise 1:  Corporate Presence. 

  1. Complete Exercise 2: Modifying Navigation Components.

  2. Check with your instructor to verify that Exercise 2 has been completed correctly.

  3. Complete Exercise 3: Adding Link Bars and Creating Bookmarks.

  4. Check with your instructor to verify that Exercise 3 has been accomplished correctly.

Interactive demonstration and discussion on how to add a page; rename the file, title and navigation page; change the theme; change the background; and insert a table. (p. 2.04-2.25)

 

10/16/08, Thu:  Creating a FrontPage Web Using a Template.

Complete the practice lesson on modifying a Corporate Presence Website.  Let your instructor know when you have finished.

 

Next, create a new Corporate Presence Website from scratch.  This is a required exercise.  Follow the instructions carefully, as this website will serve as the basis for the FrontPage Final Project.  When you have finished, contact your instructor to evaluate your work.

Required Assignments:

The table below lists all the exercises in the textbook.  Not all exercises are required.  Exercises with asterisks (*) are not required, but you are encouraged to complete them for extra credit. 

Compare each of your completed exercises with its solution (found in the Solutions notebook).  Any errors that you find should be corrected before emailing to your instructor.  See How to Turn In Exercises.  Successful completion of the required exercises is necessary to doing well on tests.  Exercises must be turned in prior to the quiz that covers those skills.
