How to Turn In Exercises

  1. Save and name your exercise file as directed in the textbook except leave the exercise number on the filename.  For example, instead of OVERDUE, save as 05OVERDUE.

  2. Print your exercise.  (Always check Print Preview before printing.  Try to save on the paper used.)

  3. Compare your printout to the Solution Key in the Blue Book.

  4. Circle or note any errors that you find on your assignment. 

  5. Determine what you did wrong.  (Don't just change it to the correct answer.)  This step is very important.  You need to know how to arrive at the correct solution -- the concept may appear on a test.

  6. Open your exercise file and correct the errors.  Save.

  7. Email the file as an attachment to dkamarainen@sccd.ctc.edu

    1. On the Subject box, enter "Assignment:" and then add the filename(s) of the assignments that you are sending."

  8. Optionally, you should save your printout (indicating the errors) as to review for the Final Test.
