Externship is a supervised, unpaid learning experience which provides students the opportunity to step out of the classroom and into the world of work. While student externs are involved in a learning agenda at their externship sites, they are able to become valuable contributors to the workplace.

SVI provides Student Medical Malpractice Insurance coverage for Allied Health students at no cost to the externship site. For information on externship sites, requirements for qualification and externship opportunities, contact your Externship Coordinator.
